On October 25, 2003 I started the construction of a new Pocher Model; K84

After inspecting the body color and days of meditating... I decided to keep the original " deep sky blue" color of the body, and paint only the silver parts! I used Tamiya X-11 paint (silver chrome) and their adhesive masking tape and sprayed everything using an compressor and airbrush
You can see the tools at my tools-page

The result was quite satisfying...

Then I began the construction of the engine, Pocher models are great but... there is always a part missing, this time: 76122-625. See my searching page.
The pictures below show the construction of the pistons (8 cylinder) and crankshaft, and the cam shaft.

Construction of the gearbox and the radiator.

Making of the steering mechanism and a he flameproof panel.

Finishing the dashboard, making the pedals and starting the side members

Construction of the front axle.

Construction of the rear axle. (10 Nov 2003)

Assembly of the frame.

Fixing the engine on to the frame.

Fixing the gearbox, radiator, dashboard and all the brake cables

Construction of the wheels and the exhaust pipe. The red parts need to be painted.

Carefully upholstering the leather. I decided to arrange the front seats some different than in the instruction manual! I like to have nice board so I fold the boards! Therefore the back of the front seat stay black because of lack of leather; but when you do it carefully the result is even more realistic!

Fixing the rear windows, using two screws to fit it tight together; I made a little hole in the plastic, very carefully NOT penetrating the body!

Fixing the seats on the chassis.

Construction of the body, with side skirts and trunk.

Placing the body on the chassis. It fits perfectly!! (19 nov. 2003)

Finished 21 nov. 2003.
